Hosted by Anne Coles & Nadine Parkinson with special guest Cheryl McGuiness. "Cheryl is the widow of American Airline Flight 11 co-pilot Tom McGuinness. His plane was the first to crash into the World Trade Centre on 11 September 2001. Since that day, Cheryl has been learning to hope again, and her powerful story is one of renewal, recovery and faith. In response to an overwhelming need she has recognised in her audiences, she launched Beauty beyond the Ashes, a ministry to share her message of courage, determination and love."

MONTHLY BCP SERVICE
A BCP service of Holy Communion will take place on the last Tuesday of each month at 10a.m. beginning the 31st of January.
ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE
This service will take place on Wednesday the 22nd of February at 6.30p.m.
GROUP REPORTS
Annual General Meeting March 2012. Please could all those responsible for group activities in the church let Viv Ainsworth (PCC Secretary) have their reports by Sunday, 5th February 2012? As in previous years, it needs only be very brief and should take up no more than half a side of A4. This is a great opportunity for all the church members to learn more about what is going on, so please do make sure your group gets its report in! If possible, please email to vivienainsworth@gmail.com but if you can't, then please put in the PCC Secretary pigeon hole. It takes quite a time to collate all the reports so it would be greatly appreciated if they could be sent in by the deadline! Many thanks.
WOMEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST
The next Women’s Prayer Breakfast is on Saturday the 11th of February at 9a.m. in church for time in His presence and then onto Damon’s. Do come and join us.
MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST
This will be on Saturday the 11th of February at 8.30 a.m. Please contact Mick Richardson
Basic Food Hygiene Course - 11 February - 10am to 4pm
A basic food hygiene course is to be offered in the church hall and is open to any church member or group that handles food within their activities. The course will be delivered by John Cusworth. There is no charge for the course and lunch will be provided. If you would like to attend, please add your name to the list in the hosting team pigeon hole, indicating if you have any special dietary needs. Sue Bain.
CHRIST CHURCH ELECTORAL ROLL
is due for its yearly revision and must be completed by Sunday 12th February. From Sunday 29th January 2012 until Sunday 12th February, the Electoral Roll will be on a display board behind the organ. Please make sure you check your details AND TICK THE YELLOW HIGHLIGHTED BOX WHEN YOU HAVE DONE SO, this is so I know your details have been seen and checked. PLEASE NOTE: This is the Electoral Roll and not the Congregation list which I have been recently updating. You can be on the Congregation List and choose not to be on the Electoral Roll, but in order to be entitled to take part in any voting at the annual parochial church meeting, you have to be on the Electoral Roll.If your name is on the already on the Electoral Roll you do NOT have to complete an Enrolment Form. However, if you are not on the Electoral Roll - and want to be - you must complete an application form for enrolment, and the let Pam Johnson have it by 12th February 2012. Blank enrolment forms are attached to the display board. On Sunday 26th February the Revised Electoral List along with a list of deletions will be posted as a requirement of 2 weeks before the 11th
