Mobile Church
A team from Christ Church visits the Hackenthorpe estate on Monday,Thursday and Friday each week, between 10 am and 12 noon. On Mondays we are in the Weaklands area, near the top of Occupation Lane. On Thursdays we park on Carr Forge Road and Fridays on Delves Road, near the shops.
The Delves Road Team
The converted bus, called James, has seats down each side and a pulpit at the back. Usually the meetings are very informal and we serve tea and coffee, chat about all kinds of things and sometimes have a short Christian service. We now have a group of regulars on each of the two visits and the word is they love it!
There is a worship service on the first Thursday of the month on Carr Forge Road and the first Sunday of the month on Delves Road.
If you feel lonely, depressed or just like meeting new people then we'd love to see you. We promise not to push the 'church bit' if you find that a barrier. Our aim is simply to share the love and faith we have, and which we believe is from God.
